Drivetime Driving Instructor Training course is about more than helping you pass the tests to become a Driving Instructor, the course was designed as a direct result of many years experience, knowledge, dedication and commitment to give everything that is needed to pass all three parts of the qualifying process to become a Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), and give you the knowledge and skills to become a successful business person. This ensures you, the trainee, receive the very best in driving instructor training in every aspect of the course. It aims to make you an excellent ADI. We give professional one to one training, with every hour you pay for with a personal ADI Trainer, you'll realise that this is incredible value for money. We prefer the words of driving teacher as we will give you all the tools to teach people to drive to the highest standards, and prepare you to run a successful business.

We help keep you relaxed during your training, and we do not put you in a classroom, with dozens of other trainees and tell you to get on with it. The vast majority of your Driving Instructor training is done in the best place to learn how to do the job – the car - and only on a one to one basis with just you and your trainer. Continuity of training and motivation are key for your success at becoming a good Driving Instructor, but you do not want to do your training so quickly that you have no hope of passing the exams. You cannot learn to be a Driving Instructor on a one week course.

You will not experience the traditional 'failure based' methods of repeating the pre set test's over and over and over . . .You'll learn and develop all of the skills you need for good instruction. If you train to be a good Driving Instructor the part 3 test becomes a formality! Your course will cover all aspects of teaching someone to drive. These skills are essential to being both a good Driving Instructor and to pass this part of the test. Your training will always be structured, and you get the benefit of close personal attention from your trainer

Your course will start with an overview, and an outline of the skills required for success. Each of the core competencies will be explained and practiced. You will cover all and much more of the areas to enable you to easily pass the test of instructional ability.

Particular emphasis will be placed on dealing with the core competencies and the use of question and answer techniques. These skills are fundamental to teaching someone to drive. Once all the necessary skills have been developed, they will be brought together by you planning and delivering the individual lessons required

You should be aware that simply driving around, delivering aimless pre set tests over and over again has very little chance of fully equipping you with the skills required. You will be given tasks and exercises to complete between training sessions as an aid to skills development. The more work you can do between training sessions the more benefit you will get from in car training.

At all stages during your training you will benefit from the use of our state-of-the-art in-car video system .
